I specialize in Web 2.0 standards-compliant XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and back-end development. I optimize for search engines and work with multiple technologies including: Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, Java, Spring, Dojo, Windows, IIS, ASP, .NET, and SQL. I have a broad range of experience in back-end servers and databases, middleware server scripting and programming, and front-end interfaces and client scripting. Photoshop is my friend.
If you don't understand what all of this means, not to worry. The terminology refers to a set of tools that developers use to make Web sites dynamic, functional, visually-pleasing, and most importantly, fun. My job is to make the most out of your Web site.
This site runs on a LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) platform and utilizes HTML5, CSS3, and the jQuery JavaScript framework for AJAX, dynamic CSS, and slideshows (see my portfolio). The general layout was originally crafted in Photoshop and Illustrator. Many other elements were recycled from past design layout concepts that may eventually show up here as other "skins" to choose from. A variety of fonts are employed, depending on what is installed on your system, including: Helvetica, Lucida Grande, Lucida Sans Unicode, Minion Pro, Georgia, Arial, Verdana, and Times New Roman.

Other than what you see here, this site is also a testing area (behind the scenes) for clients, with installations of open source systems like Drupal, WordPress, and Plogger. I give clients a preview of what they can expect from a given application and allow them to test-drive a simulation.
